South Guizhou is a place where ethnic minorities live in concentrated communities. Its beautiful and diverse natural scenery and rich folk culture attract many Chinese and foreign tourists.
It covers a total area of 26,195 sq km and has 36 nationalities distributed over the region. Most of the nationalities are Han, Buyi, Miao, Shui, Maonan and so on. Simple and honest folk, they are industrious, enthusiastic and hospitable. They make this region strong, vigorous and filled with unconstrained spirit everywhere. While establishing their fine homes, each nationality also creates splendid national culture, forming different characteristics of local customs and practices. Traditional holidays and recreation with deep cultural significance, fantastic folk handicraft and folk building weave a multicolored picture of high land landscape together, which has developed into a unique tourism resource.
Studies in South Guizhou
International Students is an important foreign exchange program in our college. We have experienced and professional teachers in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language. Since the establishment of the college, more than 100 oversea students from America , New Zealand , Canada , Korea and some other countries were admitted to our college to study Chinese. We offer them subjects such as Chinese literature, Chinese Culture and Minority culture.

Our college is located in a minority area rich in minority language resources, which provides a unique learning environment for oversea students. We offer courses in Buyi, miao, shui,and maonan language.

A General Regulation of Enrollment
The time for enrollment is in March and in September every year. Students need to submit their application, enclosing the copy of the valid passport, resume, copy of the highest educational diploma and health certificate at least one month in advance.
